Negative emotions can strike anyone at anytime, often when you least expect it. Counselling is proven to help most people to understand why and cope better with life's challenges. Adversity comes in many forms and therapy can also help you uncover the strength and resilience that can help you live a more functional and fulfilling life.
Whether you have suffered a major loss because of bereavement, redundancy, lifestyle or relationship changes, the feelings can be overwhelming. Psychotherapy can help you gain useful insights and perspective. Asking for help is the first important step towards healing. Change for the better is possible.
Encountering problems at work can often be surprisingly challenging. Whether you are struggling with stress, bullying or leadership issues there are unique sensitivities to consider when trying to protect your wellbeing and livelihood. The pandemic and its aftermath have added an extra layer of difficulty for many workers and managers. Therapy can help you to gain perspective and develop healthy boundaries with co-workers.
Sometimes you may just have the feeling that something just isn't OK or perhaps you would like to explore more fullfilling options for your life. Kick start your self development and uncover new personal insights in a confidential setting where you will be accepted for exactly who you are.
Face-to-face therapy is now available if you are not suffering from Covid-19. Sessions last for up to one hour.
Online sessions are available by Zoom as this is recommended as one of the most secure platforms. Don't worry if you haven't used Zoom before, I can talk you through it. All you need is a device you are familiar with and a private space to talk.
If you are not happy with online therapy you can opt for telephone sessions. Therapy can work very well on the phone for some people. This is a great option if you have problems finding privacy at home, but can find a quiet space somewhere else.
Get in touch to make a query or arrange a brief phone call for no obligation.
